How did we get the name "Dadco"
When we were just beginning, we knew we needed a name for our business that encapsulated our values. The problem was, nothing that we jotted down quite hit the mark. Jokingly, we asked our 3 year old "What should Daddy and Uncle name their business?"
Austin, who was engrossed in his magnetic tiles, instantly locked eyes with us and said resolutely, "DADCO".
It was the perfect name for us: "Dadco" resonated deeply, reflecting our commitment as fathers to delivering the best from our family to yours. We continue to strive to bring the highest quality items at accessible prices.

A little over 5 years ago, two entrepreneurially spirited brothers combined our 40 years experience in business, customer service, and management to found Dadco Hobbies and Wheels.
Frustrated with the excessive charging seen in the auto accessory industry and the lack of quality kids ride on toys in the city, we saw an opportunity to bring these items to Edmonton at competitive prices without compromising on quality. By working directly with manufacturers to improve the cost and quality of our products, and our dedication to customer satisfaction, Dadco Hobbies and Wheels has been exceeding growth expectations each year we have been in business.
